# Workday Integration

You can integrate Workday HCM with Asset Panda Pro to sync the following information in Asset Panda Pro:

* Workers (Employees and Contingent Workers)
* Locations
* Cost Centers

Data flows one-way from Workday into Asset Panda Pro. 

This integration keeps asset assignments and onboarding/offboarding accurate without manual entry and provides the following benefits:

* Pull worker records directly from Workday so assets are assigned to current and accurate employee data.
* With employee status synced from Workday, your team can instantly see when a worker goes inactive and reclaim their assigned assets, without manual cross-checking.

## Prerequisites

* Active Asset Panda Pro subscription with administrator access
* Active Workday HCM tenant
* Admin access to Workday to register an API Client and configure an Integration System User (ISU)

## Set up the Workday integration in Asset Panda Pro

1. Log into Asset Panda Pro with an administrator account
2. Navigate to <img src="https://1392520265-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FxeONEzrcpTXxoedP4Phm%2Fuploads%2FPGcLPehdYLLP7bOmBehU%2FSettings.png?alt=media&amp;token=3aac23e7-2676-4aa4-ae39-6e8941b81b8c" alt="Settings icon" data-size="line"> **Settings** > **Account Management**.
3. Expand the appropriate account and module.
4. Click **Manage** in the **Integrations** card.
5. In the **Workday** tile, click **Add**, and then click **Edit**.
6. Enter the following information for Workday:
   * **Tenant URL**:&#x20;
   * **Tenant ID**:
   * **Token URL**
   * **API Version**
7. Enter the **Client ID**, **Client Secret**, and **Refresh Token**.
8. Click **Test and save connection**.
9. If the test is successful, click **Continue with mapping**.

### Create Mapping

After authentication, the **Mapping List** screen displayed.

1. Click **Add mapping option** to begin.
2. Enter a **Mapping Name** that identifies the sync purpose.
3. For **External Entity**, select the data type to sync from Workday.
4. Select the **Collection** in Asset Panda Pro that should receive the records.
5. Select the **Unique Identifier** fields to be mapped between Workday and Asset Panda Pro.&#x20;
6. Set **Sync Direction** to **Push to Asset Panda**.
7. If necessary, click <i class="fa-filter">:filter:</i> to apply filters to limit synced data.
8. To map additional fields, click **Add more** and then select the field mappings. See
9. Click **Save**.
