# Mobile: Calendar (Reservations)

You can create calendars for collections to track reservations and other events associated with **Date** or **Date & time** fields in the collection. You can select the date fields to be displayed and a separate field to control the data displayed for events in the calendar.

When Reservations are enabled for a collection, forms are also added to enable users to reserve, check out, and check in assets within the collection over defined time periods. The reservations can be viewed and managed from the Calendar view.

You can create and review reservation calendars in the mobile app. This enables you to perform the following tasks:

* Reserve assets for a specific time window
* See availability and avoid conflicts
* Check out reserved items when you pick them up
* Check in items when they are returned
* Review the reservation history for each asset

{% hint style="info" %}

* The collections and forms displayed in the mobile app depend on how your organization has configured reservations and user permissions configured in the web application.
* This guide applies to both iOS and Android. Some buttons or icon styles may differ between platforms, but the flow is the same.
  {% endhint %}
