Mobile: Conducting Audits

The Asset Panda mobile app provides a structured approach to auditing assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping and verification. You can:

  • Perform audits directly on the mobile app.

  • View and manage audits in the Tools tab.

  • Track progress, review records, and filter data efficiently.

  • Use barcode scanning for quick asset validation.

  • Mark records as audited and complete audits seamlessly.

Note: Creating new audits is only possible on the web version of Asset Panda.

Getting Started

  1. Log in to the Asset Panda mobile app.

  2. Navigate to the Tools tab.

  3. All available audits will be displayed.

Starting an Audit

  1. Review the Summary: Review the audit summary to ensure all details are accurate before proceeding.

  2. Start the Audit: To begin tracking changes and logging modifications, select Start Audit.

  3. Monitor Progress: Once the audit starts, the system begins monitoring the selected collection. Users with appropriate permissions can view and manage audit progress through the Audits section.


Conducting an Audit

To conduct an audit, follow these steps:

  1. Open an audit from the Tools tab.

  2. View the list of records assigned to the audit.

    • Use the filter option to view:

      • Full List: All records

      • Audited: Verified records

      • Not Audited: Records that are yet to be verified

      • Outside List: Records with unmatched criteria

  3. Select a record to review its details.


Reviewing and Updating a Record

Each record contains essential details, such as:

  • ID, Date Added, Last Updated

  • Added By, Last Updated By

  • Barcode, Email, Address, Numeric Fields

  • Audit Status (Audited / Not Audited)


Adding Notes to a Record

To add notes:

  1. Open a record.

  2. Select Add Notes.

  3. Enter relevant details.

  4. Save the note.


Scanning a Barcode for Audits

The app supports barcode scanning for validation:

  1. Select the Scan Icon.

  2. Align the barcode within the scan frame.

  3. The system will match the scanned code with existing records.


Marking an Audit as Complete

After verifying all records:

  1. Open the audit.

  2. Select the three-dot menu.

  3. Choose Mark Audit as Complete.
