Adding, Editing, & Deleting Modules

Add a New Module

Creating a new module can be completed in two ways.

From Account Switcher

1. Click Add module+ under the relevant account.

2. In the Create from Scratch section, fill in the required fields:

   • Module Name: Enter a unique name for the module.

   • Main Collection Name: Enter the name of the primary collection where all assets will be uploaded.

The new module will include default collections such as Location, People, and Categories. Additional collections can be added later if needed.

1. Click Continue, and the module will be added to the account.

From Settings

1. On the left navigation bar, click the Settings icon.

2. Select Account Management and click Add Module under the desired account

3. In the Create from Scratch section, fill in the required fields:

   • Module Name: Enter a unique name for the module.

   • Main Collection Name: Enter the name of the primary collection where all assets will be uploaded.

The new module will include default collections such as Location, People, and Categories. Additional collections can be added later if needed.

1. Click Continue, and the new module will appear under the selected account.

Editing a Module

You can modify an existing module to update its details or settings.

1. Navigate to Account Management under Settings.

2. Locate the account containing the module you want to edit.

3. Click the Manage option for the module.

4. Make the required changes to the module's details.

5. Click Save to update the module.

Deleting a Module

Modules that are no longer needed can be deleted.

Warning: Deleting a module is a permanent action that removes all data within the module. Only administrators with the required permissions can delete modules, ensuring controlled access to this action. Additionally, you must retain at least one module in the account; it is not possible to delete all modules.

1. Navigate to Account Management under Settings.

2. Find the module you want to delete and click the options menu (three dots).

3. Select Delete Module.

4. Confirm the action by entering the module name and clicking I understand the consequences, delete module.

The module and its data will be successfully deleted.

Account Management for Modules

Modules can be reordered by dragging and dropping the double ellipse icon.

Click Save Layout to save changes.

Info: The first Account and first Module will be the default landing module for all users when entering Asset Panda unless restricted by user permissions. In this instance, the user will land on the first module they can access.
