Ursa File Upload
Uploading Files & Documents to Ursa
Ursa can read and analyze files you upload, including images, PDFs, spreadsheets, and text documents. This is useful for extracting data, answering questions about document contents, or processing information from files.

What Ursa Can Do with Files
When you upload a file, Ursa can:
Extract text from images using optical character recognition (OCR)
Read and summarize document contents
Analyze spreadsheet data and answer questions about rows, columns, and values
Answer questions about the content of any uploaded file
Compare information across multiple uploaded files
Example Prompts with File Uploads
Upload a photo of a receipt: "Extract the vendor name, date, and total amount from this receipt."
Upload a spreadsheet: "Summarize the data in this file and tell me how many items have a status of 'Active'."
Upload a PDF manual: "What are the maintenance intervals listed in this document?"
Upload an image of a label: "Read the serial number and model information from this label."
Tips for Best Results
Use clear, high-resolution images — Blurry or dark images may produce inaccurate text extraction.
Upload well-formatted documents — Organized documents with clear headings and structure produce better results.
Include context in your message — Tell Ursa what specific information you're looking for in the file.
Keep files under the size limit — If a file is too large, consider splitting it or uploading only the relevant pages.
