Ursa Administrator Guide
Ursa Administrator Guide
This guide covers how administrators can manage Ursa AI for their organization, including enabling or disabling the feature, viewing chat logs, and monitoring usage.
Enabling or Disabling Ursa AI
Administrators control whether Ursa is available to users in the organization.
To Enable Ursa
Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
Select Preferences.
Find the Ursa AI toggle.
Turn the toggle on.
Ursa is now available to all users in your organization. They can access it by clicking the sparkle icon on the left navigation bar.
To Disable Ursa
Go to Settings > Preferences.
Turn the Ursa AI toggle off.
When Ursa is disabled:
The Ursa chat drawer closes for all users.
Users can no longer access Ursa from the navigation bar.
Existing chat history is preserved and will be available if Ursa is re-enabled.
Note: Disabling Ursa does not delete any existing conversation history or logs. If you re-enable Ursa, users will still have access to their previous conversations.
Viewing AI Chat Logs
Administrators can review all AI conversations that take place within the organization. This is useful for monitoring usage, reviewing response quality, and ensuring Ursa is being used appropriately.
Accessing the Logs
Go to Tools in the left sidebar.
Select Activity Stream.
Choose the AI Logs tab.
Understanding the Logs
Each log entry contains:
Session details — The date, time, and duration of the conversation
User information — Which user had the conversation
User messages — The prompts and questions the user sent to Ursa
Ursa responses — The full text of Ursa's replies
Feedback ratings — Any thumbs up or thumbs down feedback the user provided
Searching and Filtering Logs
You can narrow down the logs to find specific conversations:
Search — Use the search field to find logs containing specific keywords
Filter by user — View conversations from a specific team member
Filter by date — Narrow results to a specific time period
Monitoring Usage and Quality
The AI chat logs help you understand how your team uses Ursa and whether the responses are helpful:
Review feedback ratings — Look for patterns in thumbs up/down ratings to identify areas where Ursa excels or needs improvement.
Check usage frequency — See how often your team relies on Ursa and which features they use most.
Review conversation topics — Understand what types of questions your team asks to identify training or documentation opportunities.
Tip: Regularly reviewing AI chat logs can help you identify common questions that could be addressed through better account configuration, training materials, or documentation.
